Last month, FUZED was invited to teach about the history of fusing glass as well as do some hands on working with glass to create their own projects at Highland Elementary School in Sylvania, OH. On top of the students, kindergarten through fifth grade, having fun doing their own work, each class did a group project to go into an art auction the school is having on March 19th at 6:30 PM. The proceeds will go to benefit a student in need for health reasons. We all had a great time and are looking forward to the art show.

“I want to thank you for such a wonderful time we all had with Jacqui and the rest of us. My husband loved the frame, especially that it was made by me and I still have all my thumbs and fingers! Ha Ha! I am looking forward to another class to take my daughter-in-laws to. It would be alot of fun! Happy New Year and thanks again!” – Terri Gillen

“I wear my handmade glass necklaces weekly, and get compliments each & every time! ” – Sue Hartman
