Q: What's included in the classes?
A: At Fuzed, each project includes instruction, safety equipment, use of tools, the glass, firing and jewelry findings (if you are doing a jewelry class). For example, if you do a Pendant and Magnet class, your pieces will be returned with the magnets and the necklace bales already attached. Click here to book a class today! Q: How long are classes?
A: Classes are 2 to 2.5 hours unless otherwise stated. If you book a class where you have food and drink, add another 1/2 hour. Adult guests can enjoy their food and drink during the instruction. Birthday parties for children should plan on enjoying their goodies after the class is finished. Click here to book a class today! Q: How old do you have to be to take the classes?
A: Most projects can be done by children 3-5 years old with the help of a parent or grandparent. Older kids will be able to do projects on their own. Longer day classes like summer camp, are best for most children entering First Grade and older.
Q: What is a pyro party? Are we playing with fire?
A: Yes, and no! A pyro party is a party custom made for you. We fire up the kiln and you create the project of your choice. You bring in your favorite food and drinks. Your party can come to the studio or we can come to you! Different kinds of parties we’ve fired up include: art groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, church groups, community events, corporate team buildings, gardening clubs, scout groups, book clubs, schools, girl’s night out and much more! Q: My kid work with glass? Are you crazy?
A: Yes, we probably are crazy. Fuzed has been working with children since 2003. It's been our experience that adults are often the ones that get cut. We believe you can't be creative unless you feel safe. We enforce good safety procedures in the studio. We provide safety glasses for everyone. Cuts are washed and covered by your choice of superhero band-aid.
