ABOUT
Fuzed is a free-standing, independent, kiln-forming studio located in Perrysburg, Ohio. Fuzed has been hosting kiln-formed glass classes for adults and children since 2003. Originally located in a garage, Fuzed moved to this location in 2009. We have provided innovative services for people who want to create spectacular things. We go into schools and community organizations and provide instruction and workshops.

About the owner
Ann Hymel started as a glassblower. In her search for a more hands-on approach to glass, she discovered kiln-forming with Anna Boothe (1998). That original class led to workshops at Bullseye Glass in Portland, OATKA Glass in Batavia, New York and in Northlands, Lybster, Caithness Scotland.
Ann originally operated in her garage until 2009 when she moved into the current studio. She has been the visiting artist in classrooms in and around Toledo, Cleveland and Detroit, Michigan. In 2010, Fuzed was named "Distinguished Business for Art Education". She has presented at the Ohio Art Education Association state conferences and to the Columbus Art Teachers' Association.
Ann was named Northwest Ohio's 2017 Outstanding Art Teacher by the Ohio Arts Education Association.
Her personal work is in private collections all over the United States, Japan and Korea.
